Equinox SF
Equinox SF

16.1 hand approved 2004 BWP stallion . Equinox is a charming,
modern typed stallion. He is a perfect match for mares needing the
injection of class to produce the exquisite sport horse foal of today.

Equinox comes from a long line of performance producing bloodlines.
His sire Torino, a brilliant competitor with world-class potential, is a
son of Heartbreaker. His dam's sire Branco, a proven broodmare sire
with three BWP/NAD sons, continues the G Ramiro Z dynasty.
Ramiro's performance as a sport horse and breeding sire earned
him the titles 'Stallion of the Century' and "King of Sires." The
thoroughbred grand dam's sire delivers Equinox's offspring the
coveted infusion of "blood" into the 3rd generation, so en vogue in
European sport horse breeding.

An extremely typey sire, Equinox wowed the Belgian judges with his
jumping prowess which earned him 87% in jumping at his BWP
approval. His reactive and ultra-careful technique coupled with
bravery and scope proves he will easily follow in the footpath of his
illustrious pedigree. His quiet and gentlemen like nature, stylish
jumping technique and overall beauty will also allow him to excel in
the hunter arena.

At the 2004 BWP keuring Equinox was the second highest scoring
colt in the US  with a score of 80%. As a yearling he was the highest
scoring yearling in the United States. At his first dressage A show
Equinox scored a 65% at first level. At his 3rd dressage show Equinox
scored a 65% at 2nd level with 8's for his exceptional, lofty gaits.

Equinox received scores in the 60's at 3rd level and is currently
showing 4th level.

His foals so far are all out of TB mares all have his excellent
movement as well as his love of jumping. His foals are easy to work
with and are quick to learn. At their RPSI keurings his foals all were
premium silver. The judges said that Equinox's foals are of a modern
type with pretty features, good conformation and enough bone. They
have excellent movement and are good modern sport horses.

Equinox is a delight to have in the barn and very easy to train.
